Thanks Mr. Pao I appreciate it. You were mentioned in fb from one of my friend there as his teacher . it is Mr. De Sotnas. I would love to be your student too. I thought they are very lucky to have you around.

I walked at the LV Scott Kelby photo walk shot with Sony A7R Sony 55 mm lens and Canon 17-40 long exposures with six inch mini table top tripod.

Sorry Peter and Jo I haven't been myself lately. Kinda having a bit of glass half-empty feelings. I'm not sure if it's being homesick away from Vancouver were taking it's toll or the lack of birds in my area was the cause of it or not. But I think I am over it now. I also have discovered an area in Calgary that's worth exploring. For those who are familiar to Calgary it's called Fish Creek Provincial park. So stay tuned

Anyways I think my Tamzooka has the latest f/w as I am not having difficulty using it. It is on the heavy side but I don't consider it a problem.

mr jun, there was a guy here and he moved to calgary about a year ago. he had been posting really nice pictures of birds, including owls. i think he found the spot you were referring

I guess I really shouldn't blame my surroundings. Theres always something to shoot at if you try hard enough.
