Thanks sir. I like your bird shots, too. Nice!

I agree. I like his watermark that's why I changed mine.

Here's another kingfisher. I think they're becoming less shy because weeks ago, they'll fly away when I'm getting closer to them. But now, not really. :))

Thanks Haha the flash is free with the camera... I rarely ever use flash but I just put it there for back fill. :D

The 75mm f/1.8 looks so sexy and so far the photos seems to be very sexy as well

Here's another shot with the 75mm f/1.8 Wide open no processing whatsoever..just converted it to jpeg

Thanks Ian :D Yeap, my beginner kit was the Canon 500D, then upgraded to Nikon D700 and then now Olympus... A few months ago I would've never thought about letting go of my Nikon gear.

Thinking about it, I should have sold everything back there in Pinas... I sold my D700 for just $800 or so although it was pretty beat up, no box no camera cover etc.

Took these Sunrise shots from the resort in Bohol where we checked in. Used a Hoya ND8 filter to get the dreamy effect of the water but the Sun was rising fast that's why I was not able to take longer than 5 secs. exposure. Besides, the waves were rocking those boats really hard so taking long exposures will only make the boats more blurry than they already are. Should have bought the ND400 Filter instead. Oh well, charge to experience.

maybe it's just my crappy laptop monitor but I think you could have gone longer than 5 secs. But then again I agree that your biggest problem were the boats.

Nice shot although I think a GND could help you a lot here, I used to stack both ND and GND before :D

ohhh I miss shooting long exposures :cry:

yeap I think he could, although without a GND there's no point in exposing this shot more since the color will become wash out... and the water is smooth enough I think :D

CPL wouldn't help on that situation I think... to be honest on all my photos I almost never used a CPL :lol: I know lot's of landscape photogs love to use CPL.

3 stop ND is a good start for sure though :D more practice :D
