Great colours. I think the waterline needs to be rotated to horizontal ...

I think what Balliolman is saying is that horizon looks a bit skew. I thought the same but it is only out by a smidge (0.8 by my reckoning). Minor point. Lovely shot. I think we are not seeing it as it's best as it is very compressed at 20kb.

Here's the shot rotated a touch-I agree not much in it but I went to the effort of checking it out so I'll post it:)

Apologies, having compared them both on screen, yours is probably the more accurate. Hey, you were the one who was there so just ignore the above!

thanks. i see what you mean now.
still new to edditing so not sure how to do it yet.
any advice will be welcome.
on the file size this is how i do it
photo shop . image size change to 800 by 500.
then save for web.
is this correct or is there a better way to do it.
thanks again
oh it was almost dark when i took this shot so had to use manual focus and think it could have been my tripod that was off balance, very uneaven ground

You describe the right way to get your image ready for posting but you can use up to 100kb. Your shot is only 20kb (well that's what it comes out at when I download it). Get the file size in the 'save for web' dialogue box close to 100kb for the best image definition.

For skew horizons there is the 'measure tool' which is really handy. In the toolbox right click the 'eyedropper' tool. The measure tool has the little ruler icon. If you click two points on the horizon it will give you the angle between them (amongst other things). Now this is the really cool bit. Then go to 'image'>rotate canvas>arbitary. You will find the angle is already in the box and you just have to click OK to straighten it all up. Re-crop and you are done!
