were is the snow

no photos just a question.
i live in wigan uk
not had any snow here yet,
any were in the uk within say 2 hrs drive of manchester that has snow.
lake district is a within driving distance for us.
thinking of going this sunday
cant wait to do some snowy landscapes

Use this link to check out the webcam in Keswick which is pointed at Skiddaw. Now you can see for yourself what conditions in the Lakes are like. I use it all the time before planning a hike/climb in the lakes. Obviously don't bother now because it's dark!
