Hi guys,
just sold one 580 EXII and now im thinking of purchasing a YN 568EX and two sets of 622c for same price, is this a decent trade up or trade down?

I have anothe 580 EX I, so i think that will be a good solid flash to keep around

I have both, the 580 EXII and the YN568. Both pretty good flashes, but I can´t seem to justify the extra for the 580 EXII if you don´t need weather sealing...
Of course the 580EX II is a great flash and is built to last, while the YN568 not so much, but for the price of the 580EX II you can buy almost 3 YN568, so if I didn´t buy the 580 EXII already, I´d probably invest in more YN468 units.

Photography is about GEAR and not talent or practice. Practice won't make you a better photographer. Expensive equipment will. =D

Thats what I thought as well.. I have one 580 and that should be good enough for a solid dependable flash. I do need triggers and the YN flash will fulfill the needed gap.

I just bought a yn568 ex and use the 622c triggers and love them both. I felt the same, I couldn't justify the extra cost of a canon flash.
