I was asked by the school if I would do the photography, the brief was to shoot pics of the kids with their best friends as they are all leaving the school to go to a new one.
So for pricing the parents will go to my site and order what they want, I am selling the prints at quite a discounted price as I'm using this as a massive marketing excercise to get my work to hundreds of family's for further shoots.
Also anyone buying a print will get a free watermarked low res for Facebook.
This plan is working well as I have about 10 shoots booked from people who have seen some of the shots
Also the kids had so much fun doing it, if some of the shots are not bought I will probably just print small ones and let my kids give them out so they all get a print of themselves.
I'm editing tonight so when they are done i will send you a link to them.

That is quite good! Most people don't look past page 2 during Google searches haha

They're called Hex Bugs. Little robots. This one has a remote and I can control it like a car but it walks like a spider lol.

That's awesome, now you're going to have to terrorize every animal / human with it. xD

What custom settings do user of this group use on their 60D for;
1. Portraits
2. Group shots
3. Landscapes
4. Fast action shots
5. Night shots.

I shoot in RAW. I don't really know anyone who uses those preset items in the JPG camera settings. :X

Raw, Manual settings for fast action: Unless shooting stars or the moon - I use Auto ISO 98%+ of the time
If shooting people - shutter of 640+
If animals - a minimum of 800 shutter - but if the animal stops I turn down the shutter to the lowest ISO I can use without any blur.

Aperture is always dependent on what effect I want. Large flying birds (blue heron, osprey) maybe an aperture of f/8 or f/9 to ensure I get the tips of their wings in focus

I don't have much to say about group shots but if the people are side by side - f/2.8 or f/3.5 should get folks in focus and it gets you nice background blur for subject isolation. If you have some behind/in front you need f/4 to f/9, depending.
