If you have the YN622C trigger which can work with HSS, try the Yongnuo 568EX flash. it'll work with HSS too.

with 568 though, there's nothing to hook up battery packs.

i dont have any flashes at all. Trying to look a bit into flash photography cuz i went out the other day to apple bees n was trying to take pics n it was sooo dark. I had my 16-35 2.8 but still i needed a flash. But know nothing about flashes so trying to read up watch videos on some good ones

i was practicing balancing this afternoon. and it was bright outside. I took a picture of my friends playing chess in a shaded area but I cannot balance because of HSS problem. I think i need at least one HSS compatible flash like the YN 568EX. I can kill the light by closing the aperture more but i want to blur the background as well. So i guess the solution is to buy an HSS flash since i have the YN622C(HSS compatible).

what do you think?

Vinz I have the canon 430 ex2 works a treat for fill flash and hss, the youngu flashes are good for the money I have a few but if I'm on a paid shoot I use the canon flashes as I know they are reliable and constant.
Saying that I've never had a problem with the youngu flashes, but I wouldn't depend on them for a pro shoot.

Oh man I had one of these first time round....lol it was my first slr camera and I loved it.
Try some ilford delta 400 film in it nice and fast with good grain.

I asked the same thing in the SoCal thread.

Decided on Fuji Superia 400 since I wanted to try out color.

I actually used Ilford Delta 400 for my film class a couple years ago. Very nice. It was fun developing and printing my own photos.
