Gerry
I was in Ho Chi Minh City last year and went to their War Memorial Museum (formerly War Crimes Museum). A host of very powerful and sad intense images. If you are ever there go see it. It will definitely affect you.

You could just enroll in her online class. :) To me it's still clothes & environment that bring it together. I'm sorry, Vinz, while this image is processed well. The pink dress is not complimenting the yellows in the background.

I'm looking to "brand" my image with consistent marketing materials. I'm not adept at PS when it comes to creative projects. So I'm looking at this set off etsy: https://www.etsy.com …0-off-modern-chic-premade (external link) For $20 it's a simple start and I could tweak the colors, etc. I don't like cutsie looks and the damask pattern has been overly used. However, I'm not sure it this look has enough polish or "glam" to it. I remember seeing Vinz's business cards and they had the "wow" factor, but not sure I can pull that off.

Thoughts?

thanks.

branding is really important. i'm not even sure if i like mine but many like it. the quality product of mooDOTcom is really second to none even their standard quality. materials are so thick and colors are good. black is really black.

to create a logo, it's advisable to use vector graphics and not bitmap. I'm using adobe illustrator on mine.

Yeah, I've used moo for cards. I am struggling with design. :/ Not creative in that area...nor skilled.

I'll echo Brenda about the look you are trying to achieve, clothes and setting bit the biggest thing is the light and lenses she uses to get the look.
A lot of her work is natural light as well, also if you have a look around there are a lot of actions for photoshop that will get you in the same style as hers and you can go from there.
Your shot I love it's a beautiful shot of a lovely little girl and to me has your style all over it. If I could produce shots like that over here (bear in mind it's cloudy and rainy most of the time here) I could make a fortune.
Vinz what I'm trying to say is you have developed a style of your own and it's bloody good!! Don't get to hung up trying to recreate others push on with yours and make it even better ;)

I agree with you Paul. One thing you didn't notice though is that, i went softer now instead of super sharp which i think more pleasing. What do you think? I usually sharpened my images like hell but then i just realized softness is also pleasing.

that is why i want to go back to 135 for a little magic. Lisa sometimes used the 200L f2 which is a killer in terms of magic but it's $$$$. and yes i have to start advising dress color from now on depending on the scene.

thanks guys.
