Looks good Vinz, my fav bit of kit.
I know what you mean Corey as I quite often apply a tint or split tone but I like to start off with an accurate base so it helps.
We had the norther lights over the uk in the week, I stayed up and they didn't show in my area gutted one day I will see them.

Thank you for your recommendation. For a controlled environment, I will always use it. It helps me to slow down too.

do you guys think this pack might work for a camera bag? I am thinking that I can find a small insert that I can place by the side pocket.

I just used the camelbak site because it shows the zipper access well, but it is only 97 bucks on amazon which is more in my price range than the 195 retail price.

well the bag came today, and the side/bottom zipper is plenty big enough for the camera w/lens to fit through. Now just need to find some kinda insert that will match up well.

I use a Lowepro Flipside 15L that looks similar to that bag ..maybe a little bit more simple but around $98 new shipped. It's more of a camera bag though not a true bred hiking backpack like yours. I think any backpack would work to be honest!

Yah as far as I know lowpro doesn't make anything big enough for me (i don't really need much room for camera gear), I figure I need about 1500 cubic inches (25 liters) of space left after my camera gear and the water bladder. I found a few dedicated camera bags that might work, but they were all very expensive (3-500 bucks), so I will try this one. It is no big deal if it doesn't work like i want for a camera bag because i still needed a little bigger daypack than my camelbak 25l rim runner.

No where to really shoot when it's raining so I shot around the house (and just outside):

I can sympathize. We've had snow cover since the beginning of November. It was -11F this morning. Ugh. Enough already! lol

So I'm considering selling my tammy 28-75 2.8 to buy a 35mm f2 canon (non IS).

Thoughts? I'm thinking f2 may be nicer and maybe the prime would be sharper?

The prime would be sharper yes, but I don't see the reason to jump from f/2.8 zoom to a f/2 prime. Losing the versatility and gaining a stop isn't worth it IMO. <<

Nah. Nothing wrong with it. You make a good point. Maybe I'll keep it and just buy something else, too. I'm bored, I guess. Lol
