I've done thembefore but my results were mediocre at best.

Curious, how do you all store your gear when not in use?

mine just sits in my camera bag. but I am pretty sure I am not a good example of a person that takes good care of there stuff

In a Pelican case with dividers and previously in a large backpack before I outgrew it.

CJ, you can send your Sigma 70-200 to me so you don't have to worry about storage. I can use it frequently if you want. lol

i'm sure your 35/85 combo is making that lens jealous if i'm not wrong.

try to get close to Meg Bitton PP style. her webinar workshop is very expensive.

Hey Vinz,

Bit of a critique on a great image. My computer shows it being a bit too magenta toned. I also don't like actual kisses. Capturing just before the kiss or showing of the 2 puckered lips rather than 2 faces pressed together.

I will have to look up Meg Bitton though. Never heard of her.

Thanks for the CC Corey. it's a split tone of cream and purple that's how it gives a magenta look maybe. hmmmm more practice. thanks again. not giving me much magenta on my screen though. more of red to me but yah a little magenta hue.

And thank you for the kiss tips. that's not a stage kiss though. actual kiss on the wedding ceremony. they wen't so fast that i miss the before touching thing.

Meg Bittons PP style is amazing. soft but sharp with a great skin tone.

the Blad is like crack but just you wait there will be a medium format DSLR sometime in the near future that won't freaking kill your wallet, account and fiscal life for the foreseeable future sometime soon i keep seeing glimmers of hope from places that one is coming (much like winter but i think winter will be here soon hehe).

So today i am setting out to learn more about sharpening and how to use it properly with out over sharpening and the likes i use Sharpener pro 3.0 (oops wrong program not dfine 2.0) from NIK and thought this was worth sharing as this tutorial really runs through the use of the program and gives great info on the different types of sharpening and how to use them properly. check out the amazing bit on creative sharpening around with the woman and then the foggy hillside that is an amazing thing that really brings out the dramatic feeling in the scenes at 33 or 34 minutes in.
