Yes! What was the technique? Just glass and a dropper?
Pretty much. I treated the glass with rain-x to help with the water beading. I used a desk lamp to light from the side but I think that was before I had ocf.

Just glass and a dropper? wouldn't a pyrex baking dish with water (an in or two) then use a clear oil (not a tinted oil) and use the dropper or just a splash then mix between photos and have a really cool back ground some ways away work out? I have not had the chance to use it yet, but just from messing around with it, it feels much better than the aluminum oben I bought and returned (granted this one cost 3x as much). It also seem's to have come with a short aluminum optional column that I didn't order (and are about 30 bucks online), so that is nice. http://www.flickr.com/photos/81190407@N08/

Do those work like the "X-Ray Specs" they used to sell in the back of the old comic books? Thank you, Pekka! I'm sure some members here might have imagined that POTN might begin winding down. But that doesn't make the news any less disappointing. So generous of you to allow us to go along for the ride. As a result you gave us a way to help each other become better photographers. But there's still so much more to learn.
