If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

I need to try and keep up. Lots of really good stuff in the last several pages.

Here's a few out the window shots from a recent flight from DFW to Reno.

Yeah, I suppose it will be just setting the iso limit in the menu. correct?

Exactly, Just set the upper limit to whatever you want. Full stops only though.

Great looking shot everyone.

Jeremy your shots make me wish I could save up a lot faster. I am looking to get that lens.

Its a great lens. Light, portable, sharp, however, if the new one comes out mine will be up for sale and I will be getting the new one. If it doesnt come out, thats ok because its already a great lens.

Beautiful. I cant believe youre looking into a 1d3. Teamspeed has proven that if youre focal length limited the 7d is the better body. I made the 1d3 vs 7d decision a year ago. You see what I ended up with. LOL

My Grandfather's Camera

Although I'm not sure when this camera was made, I have photos that my grandfather took with it that date back to to 1914.
The shutter still seems to work and the film size is122 roll film, 3 1/4 × 5 1/2 inch “postcard size” .

From the inside of the back cover:
No. 3-A Folding Brownie Camera, Model A, Manufactured by Eastman Kodak Company, Rochester, N.Y. -Made in USA.
The last patent date is Sept. 7 1909.

Both photos were taken with a Canon 100mm 2.8 macro lens

Thanks guys. It's not actually that difficult to get good shots if you're on the shady side of the plane and you manage to get a clear window.
