LOL
I am not sure it was, they upped the price on me . First it was three dollars then when I got out of the car to take the photo there was a lot of talk going on (not English) I got the drift they wanted more so I offered another dollar that did the trick. I wanted individual shots of each of them and then a group shot but there was a problem I could not get them to understand and separate so a group shot only. Then after I had taken the shot they asked for food, we gave them our picnic lunch's
The funny part was when I gave them the dollar bills they all held them up to the light to make sure they were not fake!. I don't think I could tell a fake from a real one and the cost of making a fake one would probably be more than a dollar, but it was fun. :D

The image tells a great story but the apparent oversaturation of the colorful garments doesn't resonate with me. Been all over and never seen that brightness...

Africa then you must have seen this type of dress. No saturation I did levels, contrast, dodge on skin and burn on the sky and brought the exposure up (skin still too dark).
We saw a lot of people dressed like this but non as bright as these girls, when I saw them we came to a screeching halt I just had to get a photograph.
Attached original no work at all on it.

Many photographers pay models but few would call it bait or bribe.

Lighten up George it was meant to be funny you know ha ha. However according to Webster's dictionary one of the a definitions of bait is to entice and I did do that. You might also say they did a bait and switch on me, they said yes to the $3 and then said $4 when I got out of the car
