It is mind boggling trying to figure out which one I need, Didn't know there was so many, B,N,G,M mounts, without your help i guess i would have to buy everyone of them to find out what the difference is.

I don't know about others... but I have no idea what you are talking about (B,N,G,M mounts)??

I know of umbrella brackets such as these: https://photography-on-the.net …p?p=14623519&postcount=15

I use manual exposure settings on the copy machine

I was leaving the link that I was on, but, must have closed it out, it had a list of all the flash/umbrella brackets that they had and all the Type mounts G,M,N,B and even more mount types.
Here is an ebay link, pages I and 2 should give you an idea as to what I was talking about. http://www.ebay.com …cket&_pgn=2&_skc=50&rt=nc (external link)

Thanks for the reply, I like the mount you showed it looks like the flash is centered in the umbrella, the bracket I have has the flash unit in the upper half of the umbrella.

I have had one of the longer cold shoe mounts (second one down in that ebay link.. type B from Hong Kong)

Hated it. Never could get it tight enough not to worry about the flash slipping out. Don't get that kind, IMHO.

I have type E now, and at least I can get that tight enough to not worry as much.. but I think there is probably better than that as well.
(like this one:

Godox/Flashpoint r2 system, plus some canon stuff.
