I have a quick question.

I use lightroom 4 to edit and i was wondering what sizes do you export photos for wedding albums & what size are the jpgs for proofs and even a disc of images if you give them?

Just wondering because I am creating my first album now.

I'm sure I answered this question on another forum today, from someone else.

Proofs are a DVD slide show, not high res jpegs. I don't really do proofs any more, I give the couple the high res full processed images 2-4 weeks after the wedding.

I predesign the album, I show it to the couple on my big screen TV in my office, then I give them a watermarked PDF or a printed proof on A4 paper with a watermark. They come back for a design review session to change it.

You may find my album design tutorial handy. I've designed dozens of albums, I think i'm pretty good at it now. The key is to design an album to show the day, the emotion, the story, and the photos, not to show you can use photoshop or design fancy albums.
