Saw this cloud one night and loved the way the setting sun was shining through. Comments/Critique welcome as I am in the "Beginners Club".

Welcome to the forum! That's a lovely cloud shot! The only thing that I could think that would make it better would be if you had included some land in the bottom of the frame to kind of anchor it. You might also play with levels a bit in PS to really make it pop.

Welcome to the forum. That shot begs for some post processing to bring out the colors that are deep in the shot. Nice shot.

Thank You for the comments. I've had my camera over a year, but I'm just now learing how to use it out of auto mode. Julio, what kind of processing would help? I don't know yet enough about PS to even know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! Lesley

It's really quite beautiful and amazing. Go into adjustments and increase the contrast and the light just a little. See if that will do anything.

I took your advice (thank you!) and this is what I came up with. I think it's much better, but what do you guys think?

I like it. Didn't have the first one up, so can't compare, but the I like the orange. You may want it a little lighter still, but the shot is nice.
