Recently I was able to pickup a nice homage watch. I certainly could not afford the real thing, but this seems to be a well made piece, and am quite pleased with it so far.

It is a homage to the Panerai Luminor Marina series:

Comments and suggestions are very welcome.

Thanks for looking.

Nice watch! Reflection management can be quite difficult with watches, but you have handled it quite well...

Thank you, both!
As this is only a homage watch, the anti-reflective coating does leave a little to be desired.
Next week I should have a chance to try some focus stacking.

Beautiful shots and beautiful timepieces. I wish I had enough coin to play in this thread and contribute.

Thanks for the comments.

Without going too far from topic of the photography, please keep in mind that this is only a homage timepiece. Prices may surprise you:
Genuine Panerai Luminor GMT can easily reach the $7500 to $8000 range.
After doing substantial research, this homage was had for $125.

Very good to know.. I may have to look into these then. Always loved the Panari style of cases, but never could justify spending $7k on a manual wind watch.. Ill stick to my Tag's and Rolex for that money.
