Though I agree with the wonderful image and edit of tone and color, I like to see the background lines a bit differently, say close to 45 degree angle that also give a better presentation of infants position. Something close to this one:

Thanks Samsen. I tried turning it all around and it ended up here. I do like you angle. I dont like the cord cover up. ;)

Great post processing - not overdone. I like the slight angle of the wood under the baby.

It looks like you could stand to do a bit more skin softening to me! but overall great edit.

How did you do your vignette? It looks very natural. "Blend if?"

I'd also be curious to know. This edit is pretty outstanding. Great job!

Great job on the skin processing. You were able to keep the texture of the babies skin while removing unwanted color and without over-smoothing. I also prefer the turned version from Samsen.

Well, I dont even know what blend if is so... no, I didnt use that. :D Its just a large feathered selection and layer blend set to multiply.

Thank you! Im torn on the turned version. Plus, I dont want to spend the time cloning the floor back in. ;)

Awesome shot and a great edit IMO. However, the umbilicus is rather distracting....but I guess not much can be done about that lol

Ditto on the umbilicus. Could be cloned at 17% in PS so as not to go to the lengths of Samsen. But would serve to tone down. Alternatively, could dodge and burn selectively. The issue is that the edge is catching light making it a brighter part of the photograph, and thus distracting the eye.
