I saw these at Pismo Beach a couple of weeks ago. It was very overcast and dark.

Mar 23, 2013 12:50 | #8 I really can't take credit for the find. We drove there from Biloxi to see my son at Vandenburg AFB. We were walking around the trail when someone told me about the nest. Like Six Fifty B wrote, they were on the Monarch Butterfly trail. I really feel privileged to see these little guys doing what they do.
