The only nit pick I have is the shadow in the lower right is distracting. A different time of day would have been better, though I know full well that's not always possible.

Overall, a great image!

Thanks everyone! Because of all the tall formations there, it would be impossible to get this shot without those shadows. Unless, I shot at sunrise maybe.

So THAT'S what those are called. I've passed by them dozens of times going back and forth to Mammoth Lakes and have been meaning to go back there when I'm not in a rush.

Nice shot. The lighting and textures are perfect.

They shot a Star Trek episode there. The original series. The one where Kirk is fighting the Gorn.

Love the shot. The shadow is fine. I think you did a fantastic job balancing the exposure.

I appreciate everyone's input. Personally, I love a picture with good color and contrast, but I really try to keep things as natural looking as possible. That was kinda the goal with this pic. This is what I remember seeing that day. With just a tad more pop.
