It's taken way too long to get our website up, but I finally had the time (and courage) to put one together. I think in the next year or so I'll change to have someone custom build it. The hardest part was the "About us page". We tried to get some of our "goofy" personality in there but found it difficult...which seems to be a common concern. Oh well...lol,

Dan

You did a great job on your site, great videos and slideshows. Your pictures are sharp and stunning. I like how you gave insight on how you captured your best shot, gives me great pointers. Keep up the great work guys.

Update your TITLEs on your pages (eg Home) to be more descriptive and help your site from showing up on Google, Bing, etc.

No where that I could find was your location or email address. Big pieces of information missing.

hey dan! i didn't know you were on POTN! Darrell and I are FB buds. ps i'll be up in Toronto in may if you guys wanna grab a pint.

I think the site looks great. I built a few in my days and my only a few suggestions would be :

1. faster changes between pictures. when you click, there is some lag. not sure if you can adjust this or not.

2. the scrollbar at the bottom took me about 30 seconds to figure out how to get more photos to appear (without clicking the right side of the image shown).

3. rename your pages to say "toronto wedding photographers" or "toronto wedding pictures" etc. this will help with SEO...THAT conversation could go on and on

4. It doesn't say where you guys are from, or how far out you service. PS...A phone number never hurts. If you don't want to list YOUR phone number, look into getting a google voice number. Hit me up if you wanna chat about that.

Other than that, I like the layout. Clean, simple, professional.

also : what does the "home" page do for you? When someone clicks on it they just go back to start but there's nothing really there for them. I'd suggest putting something of value there, or just eliminating the ability to click 'home'.

just my 2 cents!

Some good advice! Thanks everyone. The e-mail is something I overlooked because of the "contact" us page, but it's good to have just in case they want to e-mail us later, not through the site. And I'll work on changing some of the titles. In terms of the lag times, not much I can do there, and the scroll bar at the bottom cannot be changed because it was a "template" site that we used. Within the next couple years we might hire a "true web designer" to upgrade our page.

Thanks again<
Dan

I use Canon gear...have several bodies and lenses and am quite pleased with them.
