Hi Everyone,

I thought I will show some of the photos I took from here in Iraqi Kurdistan. They were all taken with a Canon PowerShot S95.

1. This is Korek Mountain (behind the green hill) and it was taken from outside Rwandz (Rawanduz).

2. This is on Korek Mountain and was taken from the cable car.

3. This is slightly further up on Korek Mountain.

4. Finally, this is the observatory on top of Korek Mountain. It is unused and is cordoned off by the government.

5. This is the view of the area known as Kharand when coming back down.

I hope that you like the photos. I have plenty more on my Flickr page.

Thanks,

Naddie

Interesting shots Naddie, I like the ones from the cable car. They show an area most of us will never see. That is quite a facility to just be sitting shut down & idle.

Never make the same mistake twice, there are so many new ones, try a different one each day
