Funny story. I was cleaning the house when I saw this little guy watching me on the window. I was too busy to stop and put my macro setup together so I put the spider in a small container and popped it into the freezer for later. I was surprised to find that it froze in this position and was perfectly preserved. Made for a great photo shoot and I didn't have to worry about it moving. That seems a little extreme, I know people sometimes cool them down in the bottom of the fridge to enable them to get a controlled shot then release them back to the great outdoors alive when they warm back up............

Sounds like you care more about your shots than your subjects?
