I mostly use Kingston and Transcend due to the price. I've never had an issue with either one.

B&H has them for almost the same price with free shipping. (external link)

Yeah. The only difference is the amazon one is UDMA 7 and the B&H is UDMA 6

Bought my Transcend 32GB at the time I purchased my 5D3 last September and I never had one issue. I I don't really trust Kingston these days. We have had 3 Kingston SSD drive just wipe itself for no apparent reason. I know CF and SSD are totally different products but they are both storage devices and prolly came from the same R&D department.

been a while since I bought a card. What do these normally go for? I know 'list price' is never the price.

That's the lowest price I've ever seen one for. Been using mine for a couple of years or so with no problems. Plenty fast enough for the 7D.

I needed some stuff from B&H, so this went in the cart. Free shipping and much less BS than Amazon.

If I didn't just get a new 32GB Transcend a month or so back from amazon I'd have bought. I noticed the price this morning on the card. very good price on a fast card.

The problem with Kingston is that the actual product changes at a high frequency with no notice.

My imagine composition sucks. I need a heavier lens.

Yeah. I know.

And once again the amazon CF is UDMA 7, B&H is not. If that makes any difference ...

I refer to the relatively new Amazon Shipping Lottery.

I've been a happy Amazon customer for years, but recently I am getting very frustrated with their shipping times which are becoming very odd. Order a few things, and some get there the next day, some in a week, some in two weeks.

They have opened up the Amazon name to far too many odd vendors, with odd practices.
I've even been scammed by one, and Amazon only forced them to offer a refund AFTER a restocking fee, and AFTER I paid for return shipping. All said and done, the shipping and restocking I paid for was worth more than the bogus product I returned.

I have a hard time trying to sort out what qualifies for what shipping, which free shipping is reasonable, and which you get spanked for and end up waiting 2 weeks or more.
Perhaps it's my own failing but I can't make heads or tails of it.

With B&H I get everything the next day.
And with B&H I know who i am buying from. Exactly who, on a first name basis.
