Wonderful capture Brian. I keep looking in our little puddle (defunct water feature), never any spawn but we do get the frogs.

I hate frogs, but this really is an interesting set, I've always been kinda interested in macro... getting closer to getting a good macro lens.

I agree, they're not the most attractive creatures but this is an amazing set. Were they right up on the surface or did you use some kind of box to get the shots?

interested to learn how they develop at different rates in the same pond if it is big enough according to depth, shade, food availability etc Good survival mechanism.
