Nifty; I'm not sure I see one posted here very often.

it seems to be a tad soft... were you using a 2x tC?

Simply looking for some cheap gear... photography is just a small hobby of mine, just like looking and dreaming!

I was using a 500mm lens hand-held on a cloudy day under a heavy canopy. I had to walk the line between an image that was too noisy or OOF. I also have limited skills with mediocre equipment. I post most of my images just because I like to share the unusual critters I see on my time off work. Thanks for the comments!

Lovely bird and a great find, I know what you mean about cloudy weather, not sure I would call a 500mm mediocre though. Well done.
