Is this for real? I don't know.

When you add it to the shopping cart it will add %2 weekend discount.

Probably not for real, no. If it sounds too good to be true, it likely is. A quick Google search for closeoutdigital reviews brings up many mentions of scams.

Gotta ask yourself, why would a brand new camera that just hit the streets be offered so cheap on a site called Close Out Digital? And then try and figure out if you want to be a cherry or grape sucker. ;)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

You're all right I just saw this ad on the top of this forum's page. I thought I would share it and forgot to google it first.

This one seems legit and the store has decent ratings on ResellerRatings.com. Just don't think they are a Canon Authorized Dealer

Resellerratings' ratings are usually good but not always. Anyone can write a review there...

Best Price Photo is one of the infamous Brooklyn, NY stores AFAIK. Their "reputation" is such that I'd never ever consider buying any cameras there.

They are not BBB accredited and have a C- rating at BBB.

It's worth sticking with tier 1 reputable online retailers (authorized) such as B&H, Adorama, Amazon, Newegg, Buydig, Beach Camera etc. There are some lesser known ones such as The Imaging World that are fine and are authorized but with those guys it is really worth checking their return policy.

Here's (external link) also some additional reading

yea. these prices are a little TOO low for a store right now. I got some great deals and I could only just bring the body down to this price.

Right now I consider Amazon's $2329 kit as the best deal, at least for me.
With my Amazon CC I get 3% back in points and additional 2% in Amazon rewards, making it essentially $2212, no tax for me (OH)

I ended up keeping the 24-105L but if I had sold it even for $750 here, the net price for my 6D would have been $1462, from an authorized, reputable dealer.

I just got my 6D from Amazon for approx $1767 (body only) and I saw both the Best Price Photo price as well as 42st photo and I was ready to return the Amazon body but there are a number of complaints against best Price Photo and the difference from 42st may not be worth the return.

Take a look at this article:

There is also an audio file attached to the article that shows you what you can expect when you talk with companies like this.
