I've cropped and adjusted colors and I'm now running the pics thru Adobe Elements 10
I am using "Process multiple files"
The watermark is various sizes, some go 1/2 way across the bottom and some are so small you can barely see them
How do I get the size to be consistant
Thanks in advance

The watermark is probably consistent, I'm betting that the size of your pictures differ. If you have a watermark that is 50 pixels high, it is going to look a lot bigger on an image that is 200 pixels high compared to how it will look on an image that is 800 pixels high. It's all down to relativity.

I'm not a watermark user, so all I can do is offer a couple "pointers"

First, you might look up "Russel Brown" for the work he has done with watermarks. He has put out an "action" that you can possibly adapt to Elements.

Second, if you look at the bottom of this page you will note that your thread title sparked a forum "mini-search" that got some results that you could look at.

Just so you know, this is a common thing that comes up! I wish I had more answers!

Also, the resolution (PPI) is probably relevant. Make sure it's the same every time.

Makes sense
So is there a way that I can set the watermark using Elements 10 so that the watermark is always 1/8" high x 1 1/2" long (approx measurements).
Thanks

One other thing I'd suggest is getting on to image sharing sites (here or elsewhere) and finding some photogs who have consistently "pleasing" watermarks and asking the photo for "pointers". There are different approaches, varying from an "automated" approach (for taking image size and orientation into consideration) and a more manual approach (creating a watermark, saving it, then adding it to a layer in your photos that you then "tweak".

"Inches" won't have meaning unless you bring your image and watermark into a document that has a set resolution (pixels per inch). What does matter if you are working on an image is the resolution of the image compared to the resolution of the watermark.

Number of pixels and image ppi screw this up for me.
