A new jumping spider I have not seen before. It was hunting on some low vegetation (background and foreground are dead leaves in this case):
A planthopper nymph trying to look invisible on a dead leaf. This is a 3-shot stack, handheld:
A lavender flower with a tiny leafhopper hiding in a leaf. This is a natural-light stack of a few shots (can't remember how many):
My first snakefly!
Same snakefly from a bit closer, only this time with a flash:
30-shot natural-light focus stack of a fly from the Pipunculidae family. The stack is incomplete, but although that fact is bothersome, I still think it works okay.
