Great shot and timing on 7. I can see #1 post processed with a black and white background. I like the composition of it also.

That's a nice idea for #1. Might do that for the photobook I do at the end of the season.

An additional thought is to crop tighter. Here is your last image re-cropped. I will remove the image if you wish.

I don't disagree with you. Normally, I'd crop tighter. The reason I have not cropped these as tightly is because I lose too much sharpness. I am saving for a 300mm lens (shot these with 70-200) so I can get in closer.
