Hi everyone,

I just noticed that today's batch of photos seems to have a small white blob appearing on the photos near the bottom. They are all in the same place which means to me a dead pixel in the sensor. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Thanks.

Naddie

It looks like a hot pixel or stuck pixel (Dead would be black), but unfortunately there is not a good fix. You can have it repaired if under warranty, and if not you can run all your RAW through pixelfixer first and that will clone out all the white dots.

Is that a crop? Just trying to get an idea of the size of the problem area.

Thank you for the replies. It is a crop. I had the camera for less than a year, but I am currently abroad. have downloaded pixelfixer and will try it out later.
