Goodbye Antarctic, you has been very very kind to us...

We had a PERFECT Antarctic trip!

Next two days in Drake Passage, heavy seas and some people felt off the bed..

We did have a Killer Whale photo, just too bad to post here.

Well that has to be be one of the most amazing series of photo's I've ever seen!
I'm living in Canada now so I'm used to snow & Ice but the scenery there is something else. Thanks for sharing these images, and I think you may have persuaded me to take that voyage.

The staffs from the ship told us that for straight 5 sunny days in Antarctica are very very unusual, even for them have been Antarctica for years.

If you check the company web site, they also have the itinerary including Falkland Island & South Georgia before heading to Antarctica as all other companies doing Antarctica expedition. Which will add another 7 days and almost doubling the cost. Falkland Island & South Georgia are wild life photographers' heaven and should not miss IMHO.

Ushuaia rains most time of the year, so you should get your wet clothing ready as landing there. You will have no problem paying all your bill in American dollars anywhere; you'll need to show your Passport with credit cards payment most the time. Ushuaia is very safe and you're ok to get drunk there :cool:

This entire thread is just full of really awesome images and aside from being jealous I just have to say that you did an excellent job capturing these! Thanks for sharing!

As for the B&W conversions for printing, well done ... those will look awesome anywhere you hang them!

Now I just start to edit the photos in uncompressed tif files in 400 pixels per inch, print one or two and see how they come out. Crossing my fingers now.
