Honda Grand Prix, St. Pete Friday Practice

I attended an Indy car viewing and one of the guys working there handed me five free (normally $10) tickets to Friday's practice for the Grand Prix held in the streets of downtown St. Pete, FL. I tried giving the extra tickets away on FB, but apparently people work on Fridays. I showed up to the event and ended up selling my four extra tickets at the gate for $5 each, which payed for my parking and food for the day. I didn't have a media pass, so all my racing shots were through two layers of fence. I found a pretty solid location (T5) and stuck with it for a good portion of the day because I didn't want to lose my spot and there were other photographers pushing to get where I was. Thanks. I wish I would've tried more wide-angle shots like this. This was my best of six attempts.

Pretty nice, especially considering what you had to shoot through to get the shots.

Last photo is super crispy! Editing/photo is spot on.
