Neighborhood Red Shouldered Hawks

I discovered a pair of Red-shouldered Hawks in the neighborhood a couple of days ago. They seem pretty acclimated to people so I hope to get more opportunities to photograph the pair. Not sure, but one of them seems to be favoring a foot/leg.

Great shots there with lovely compositions, clarity and colours. Its great when birds, but, for me, especially raptors let you in close isn't it?

Great series, love your portrait. opefully you'll get more through the season. Unless you saw him hobbling around, his leg is likely OK, they do tend to tuck one foot in like that when perched.

Thank you WR! Haven't seen him limping. Thats good to know about the tucking of a leg! I would hate for him to be injured!
