Aged

Well this is a little project i did over the summer, where i wanted to test my ps skills. In people photography, especially glamour and model phorography, you see a lot of touch up and basic ps stuff to make the subject appear younger. I wanted to try the exact opposite, and so i took a pic of me, and aged it to make me appear older. Theres def. some mistakes and to tell you the truth i couldnt tell you what age i look like, however i do kno i look older. Geez, i hope i done look like this.

LOL! that is too funny! You even remembered to make the ears larger. Forgot about the hairs growing out of your ears and nose though . Interesting project, scarry but interesting. And quite well done I think.

That looks cool, how'd you make the wrinkles? They look pretty real. If I were you, I'd start saving for some plastic surgery. =) JK

hahaha yeh, i might have to do that. If you look in the original i actually do have bags under my eyes already, so with wrinkles that already exist i simply burned the darker areas and then added a stronger highlight outside of them. For the wrinkles on my forehead and neck i actually found some pictures of the elderly and stole their wrinkles and applied a layer blending mode such as soft light to that layer or i just reduced the opacity. With the other wrinkles i had to just use the paintbrush and start to draw where i think they would go. Other things to take into account. Your eyes usually get more almond shaped and your ears never stop growing so i used the liquify tool to distort them. I desaturated my skin a little bit and then added john travoltas hair lol. I am never going to wear a comb back! haha

Well i dont want to make another thread cuz it seems like its a waste of space considering ive gotten only 2 replies, so im gonna show the rest of my work off in here as well. Its funny cuz after i got ps, no one will let me have their pictures for fear of what i may do with it.

Wuts up Alan...how ya been?? U havent heard the results of that bird photography contest yet, have u? i was just talking about u over on crsx the other day. Nobody knew where u were until Issanharu mentioned he saw u ova here. Those forums r getting kinda stale cuz it seems everyone is leaving.

I did'nt hear anything from that contest (lets just say the winning shot was......well selective ).There's always next year ?.

I hav'nt been on that site for awhile, i'll have to pop in there and say hi .
