Most of the award winning photographer tends to have a similar post production finish to their work. I would love to learn that kind of pp'ing. I won't mind paying for that lesson also if anybody knows.

Always remember not to overdo it. At least that's my mantra, I hate images that have been overcooked.

But I tend to disagree with you about the similarity of the processing. Apart from the normal stuff we all do, I see a vast range of styles.

I have to agree with Lowner, especially since the OP hasn't stated a genre of interest. Are we talking about award-winning commercial photography, photojournalism, conceptual photography, street photography, landscapes...??

Kouasupra, perhaps you could include a link to the kind of processing that interests you.

I'm sorry. I was little vague on the question. I'm talking about portraiture and wedding.

Here's one of my favorite photographer. Cliff Mautner.

Find popular plugins you enjoy, then reverse engineer them and determine their component effects. Curves, hues, contrast etc.

Yep. Ask Peter Lik. He knows to never, never over-saturate photos because if he does, he knows he will never, never sell them for a million dollars.

Can you be a little bit more specific and point out the photographs that you think were PP'd well?

Wanted to make sure you were differentiating a photograph shot well with a photograph that was edited well. :)

Some of those images were bland or just bad looking. Maybe I've been deleting the valuable pictures and keeping the worthless, good looking ones all this time.
