Call from the wife the other morning. Expected to find a fly or a spider but instead there was a rather lively centipede trotting around on the kitchen floor. Trapped it with a card and glass and waited around 5 mins for it to stop charging around in circles. It did then stop a few times to do some antennae cleaning allowing me to get a few shots.

Nice!

was this taken with your sigma or your tamron macro lens?

my mother freaks out regardless of what bug it may be, if she seen one of these she'd run out of the house

Taken with a canon MPE-65 lens.
The wife has had many years training so now no screams just a shout - there's a bug .... :)

Thanks all for the comments - appreciated :)

Yes I did put it outside onto a large planter with lots of leaves on top of it. Still trying to work out how it got in but suspect it came in on something I bought in.

haha, recently we had one crawling in our bed. I was in the other room and my wife screamed.... REALLY loud. I came running into the room thinking something really bad had happened. She was against the wall pointing at it LOL. I just showed her these pics and her reaction was " That's freaking nasty" hahahaha.

Love the pics! Lots of detail.
