So I found this little nature park yesterday with some of my friends and there was this cool old abandoned silo in the middle of the place. I got some shots with different perspectives than I am used to. Wondering what you think or what you might have done differently?

Had to go with HDR on this one in order to get everything. This is looking straight up the ladder tube. I think I may need to go back and fix the dark area in the upper right corner.

Another vertical perspective and HDR. This time with my friend who had climbed to the top.

I just picked up a Lee filter kit with a Big Stopper. Trying to find good uses for it! Let me know what you think.

It's great that you are not shooting from the most common perspectives - however in this case (at least for me) it doesn't work. I'm just not getting the feeling that this is much more then an interesting (but sharp & clear) snapshot. I like the 3rd one best.

Keep at it, and keep looking for new perspectives!

Thank you for your honesty. Exactly what I want to hear! Its unfortunate that they appear snapshotty because I took my time setting the tripod up and everything and got what I was looking for! Oh well. You win some you lose some. I think that this might be a good location for some nightscapes so I will be going back once it warms up a bit more.

First shot is loaded with potential. Needs a little tweaking to even the lighting out. The other two shots don't do much for me. Bringing the levels up just a touch really makes it pop. You have a little bit of sensor snot in the upper left corner that needs to be cleaned up too.

I like the first one best. It is great technically and very interesting. You have terrific sky there, maybe you could introduce a little more contrast into the sky.
