Have been trying to practice using my 50D with 2x TC and new Life-size TC with my 50mm 2.5 compact macro lens, this small spider was shot at ISO1600, F8, 1/250sec. at 1:1 hand held had about a foot working distance, was surprised with the outcome, clarity and noise were not as bad as I had thought, think I am going to enjoy my new Life-size TC, all comments and tips welcome, almost forgot the flash is the camera flash with a diffuser that I slip on to the flash.

Thank you all for your comments and Killer I use a boot made out of tshirt material, have several that I slip on depending on how much light I need from the flash.
