Im wondering if anyone here has experience with this little tripod. Or other similar option? Maybe I didn't search correctly but nothing came up.
Any who, here is the link for the tripod:

That's quite expensive for a shorty tripod. Depending on what you're trying to accomplish, you might want to take a look at a far less expensive Gorillapod Focus, perhaps?

I don't really like the gorilla type tripods. I want something I can have with me in my small bag, and use for example at theme parks. I go to Disneyland quiet often and there are awesome spots to place a tripod of this size and take exposures. I like that it's also arca Swiss compatible, I don't like attaching many attachments on my camera plate. So I was wondering if there is any others similar to this one, I saw another on BH Photo but it was the same price.

I'm sure it's well made, I've been looking at the TP-243, min height 1.9 inches, max of 16.9 inches. I'd like to find a similar one, but cheaper.

The BH-25 ballhead alone is worth it. I bought a small (very small) Giottos QU100 several years ago and it's just not what I want. So, I never use it.
This TFA-01 would make me happy.

I think I'm just going to bite the bullet on this little tripod, although I might be heading to Santa barabara at the end if August and wouldn't mind visiting and touring the Really Right Stuff facility!

If you go, take some pictures. I'd like to "see" it...

I will! I meant April, just waiting to see if my wife gets her vacation approved or if we have to wait until July.

It's on the way!

Compared to the little Manfrotto 209 Tabletop with the BH25 - it will be more sturdy and the diameter - with the legs spread- is 3cm (10% more) wider - and it can handle much more weight.

However, note that this is a very small tripod which you must use with care when using large DSLRs. But even the 209 Manfrotto handles my 5DmkII with grip and the 24-70. The RRS TFA-01 will be better and more sturdy. I do not use extensions column while using DSLRs on such small tripods. That is risky. The legs are spread fully.

I've used a Manfrotto 209 tabletop tripod (external link) for about 8 years and it has been excellent. Any small ballhead will screw onto its 3/8"-16 stud.

Yes, an excellent table top, low angle type tripod! After I bought one, I knew my search was done for that size. The Ultra with locking legs offers nice height options where the base has only one height.

I have one too and my search is done for a tripod that size.
