Can anyone recommend a good monopod that can hold a 120-300 F2.8 OS, 2x teleconverter and a canon 7D.

I have researched a few but would like te input of users

Canon 7D, Canon 100mm L F2.8, Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 OS, Sigma 50mm F1.4, Canon 430 ex II, Sigma 2x teleconverter, Kenko extension tubes, Vello flash cord And a few bits and peices and a Yashica 635!!!

I picked up this Sirui P326 for my 500mm and it works great. http://www.bhphotovideo.com …Section_Carbon_Fiber.html (external link) Good quality and collapses very short!

What is your budget
What hight do you need ?
With head or without ?

I use a Gitzo GM2541 carbon monopod with Gitzo GH2781TQR (this was the head of my traveler tripod) <-- its not the best monopod head. But for me it works very good. :o

Sorry forgot to mention that stuff. I guess under $100, I'm 6 foot tall so something close to that and honestly I can't see a reason to have a head on on a monopod

Sorry I'm not familiar with monopods under $100

Depends how you use the monopod.

I use my monopod at an angle - towards my body - so I lean into it making it more stable. you can straighten the camera with the head

Also, the quick release plate is a lot easier to deal with than screwing and unscrewing the camera to the monopod.

bannedPermanent ban

I got mine from Walmart for about $30. It holds a 5D and 70-200 2.8 or 100-400L just fine.
