question: if have eyefi xpro x2, and form wireless camera SD card to laptop network and want it to direct download to laptop, say to a certain folder--then that seems possible based on what I have seen discussed here and on their website. Now I would like to know if any of you have experience with making that folder the files are imported to on laptop a "watched folder" in Lightroom so that LR will automatically import the file and apply an import preset to the image and then show it on Laptop screen. Is this possible? If so, I would be so happy to know it. Thanks in advance!

It was quite easy for me to accomplish most of what you just detailed. However, I have no idea if you can do a preset against auto imported images...

The rest of it you can setup with the EyeFi application to dump into the folder you have set to auto-import in Lightroom. I was able to get images to pop up in Lightroom full scree on the PC a few seconds after shooting them. On top if it I had them showing up on the iPad at the same time as well.
