Decided to do some family photos this weekend. All of these shots are taken with the Canon EF 85mm. This is my family. My 3 year old daughter, 6 year old son, my wife, and me (10 second timer luck).

Acquired an A7ii and a metabones MKIV. The 85mm works fairly well in good light, but in bad lighting focusing is abysmal. While I love this lens I may need to go native to fully enjoy the camera.

I've got to say I've had moments where this lens has really done it for me and moments where it's just frustrated me. Yesterday though I had a good day. The focus was nailing about 90% of the time, and the times it didn't, I blame on the AF assist of my triggers rather than the lens.
