great dynamic Maizzi =)

Thanks guys for the feedback. BlackRainbow, those are some killer wedding shots you posted! Very nice. I have a wedding shoot coming up, and the 85mm is gonna be my workhorse.

Here's one from today. Shot in midday sun, scorching hot day!

I have to say; Thanks to this thread I sold my 85L II and bought this lens. After a week of using the 1.8 I am now convinced that I made the right choice. IQ is fantastic and I really do not miss the 1.2.

The 85mm FL is really handy for all purpose use. A few shots from Redfish lake, ID.

Indeed! That place is awesome! Where we camped there was a nice big beach for the kids to play.

Jon,

That 'pink' image you've posted is utterly superb, lovely skin tones/composition/style. I must get this lens soon.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful image - wOw That photo would look fantastic enlarged to a 30x20 hanging on a wall.

Thanks, color efex pro 4 had something to with the colors/skin tone!

The lens is great: small, light and sharp, excellent focal length for indoor portrait on FF (Head/shoulder to 3/4 body).
