Every time I think about selling mine...I take it out and shoot with it and then realize that I would just end up wanting one again...so I keep it in the bag. Website

Well, I thought that 85 was a bit long when I was shooting with a 40D. I traded it for a 50mm. Kept that ever since. I've had a 1.4x TC in my bag that has been collecting dust for just as long... a local guy was looking for the TC and I figured I might as well throw in some cash and get the 85... especially now that I have a full frame. I'm still saving up for the 85/1.2, but now I'm not as much in a rush. This 85 focuses faster, afterall, and I'd keep it for sports (and kids) anyway. Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

Your shots keep making me think I need to get back out there! Thanks Randy!, but don't feel bad...I am about to drop off the radar myself as the weather is turning. I think a lot of us go through spurts. vinmunoz wrote in post #16429399 i am trying to unsubscribe to this thread to stay away from temptation, i just couldn't do it. i can't scratch my itch for now. It's only a matter of time Vinz...feel free to quote me when you post your first "test shot" in here! Cory
