My camera keeps doing this when I hold it in portrait position, no matter what lens I have on it. I took this picture w/ the water bottle dead center in the frame and the focus point on the straw inside of it. The shifter to the left was not even visible in the frame. For some reason every time I take a picture in portrait position it basically moves the entire image I had in the frame to the right. I have never heard of this or seen it happen. Anyone know what it could be?

P.S. It appears to be functioning normally in liveview.

LOL, yes.

You think it may have somehow got itself out of position?

Try shooting in portrait but rotating the camera in the other direction. If the image moves to the right, then my guess is that mike is correct.

Edit: typing on smart phones is slow going.

It's the only thing I can think of that would present a different picture in the viewfinder than what the sensor is seeing.

yes it moves in the opposite direction when I do that. Thanks for the help guys, guess I'll be sending it in for a fix.
