manfrotto prob 055 clips greasy

hi

i have a manfrotto prob 055 and i want to ask if i can use some greasy for the clips

a friend of mine did broke the clips many times

i though to use a greasy rexsons system silicosilicon resistent -40° +200° to grease the legs clips?
