I hate to be disagreeable, especially because I know you're just trying to help, but I've been checking there all day and they are OOS now and have been all day... I just looked again using your link and it's says the same thing it's said all day...

I don't think it a matter of the price for a lens cap that is the issue, at least for me. It's about principle. I have a hard time paying such a high premium for something that should be priced much more modestly than it currently is. It's just a simple piece of plastic after all.

For example: 2 caps in 72mm and 52mm from either Adorama or B&H shipped here to Canada would cost over $40.00 and that is not including the currency exchange. Online retailers in Canada are asking $20.00 and up for the same caps, then I need to pony up for shipping too. The same caps, which I looked at just yesterday in my LCS (local camera store), were price in a very similar manner ~$18-$20 each. eBay offers the most agreeable price for these at about $16.00 each with free shipping.

For my immediate need for a cap for my 15-85 with the hood installed I purchased a Marumi 72mm from my LCS for $7.00. The fit and quality seem equal to that of the Canon side pinch cap it will stand in for. My only complaint is that the contact points for your fingertips could do with a small lip or some texture.

I did not even see that, ordered a couple of 77's for myself and the add to cart button for 82mm.
