Close up the eyes don't look that sharp, but at this size it looks OK <shrug>

looking good Bas! How many shots was it and what aperture and approx. magnification?

Martin the shots were taken with the 600D (crop) with the Tamron lens and a full set of tubes. I would imagine the overall zoom would end up at 1:1 or just above, but the image is cropped, if only to get the best comp I could manage.

There are only two shots both at F10 1/200th, full flash.
