Normally I can find what I am looking for but yesterday I was looking for a post that I had made a few years ago. The search function seemed to return only up to either 9 or 10 pages of results and the more I tried to filter I found that the current filtering system is very basic. For example you can enter a quasi date range but you can only search for those over a year older. For those that have lots of posts the search didn't get to the date range that I was looking for. I just find the search to be rudimentary if you are faced with trying to find a post from years ago.
I did finally find the post I was after by narrowing it down to what I thought was the forum I posted in and then jumping ahead and simply scorlling through the pages. I know that there is a new forum on the horizon (though it seems a long ways off), is there a better search function for this.
